There is plenty of opportunity for growth in this niche community as yoga studios all over the country are finding value in adding Aerial Yoga to their schedule. Specializing in Aerial Yoga puts you on leading edge of mindful movement activities as they evolve beyond traditional yoga postures. We hope that you will join us!
With 750 hours of training and 5 years as a dedicated yoga instructor, Alexa is a passionate, knowledgeable, and respected member of the Calgary yoga community. Her background in professional dance fostered a deep love of movement, mindfulness, and the concept of flow as it contributes to overall physical health and mental wellbeing. This underlies her style of teaching, which places strong emphasis on integrity, alignment, and fluidity. In 2014, she trained in New York to specialize in aerial yoga and went on to pioneer and develop the aerial yoga program at Soul Studios. The program has since evolved to include a variety of styles including introductory workshops, accessible level one classes, intermediate level two classes, as well as specialty arm balance, inversion, and restorative offerings. She aims to create safe, supportive, and inspired spaces in which practitioners can access and explore the many modalities of mindful movement, whether it be through yoga, meditation, or on aerial silks.
